The Friend of Chile Award, celebrating its ninth year, is presented annually to an outstanding member of the regional business community with a strong commitment to foster increased commercial and trade relations between the Republic of Chile and Greater Philadelphia. This year, we honor the tradition and invite you to join us as we celebrate the achievements of our award winner, Pennsylvania Senator Mike Stack.

Last Fall, Senator Stack visited Chile as part of the Pennsylvania Trade Mission. Early this year, Senator Stack welcomed officials of the Chilean Embassy in Washington D.C, including former Chilean Ambassador to the United States Andres Bianchi; and a 26-member delegation from Chile representing the Chilean Beef and Pork industry led by then Minister of Agriculture Jaime Campos Quiroga, to celebrate the first shipments of quality meat from Chile. Senator Stack is an active member of the Chilean and American Chamber of Commerce. We are honored to present him with this well deserved award.
